The KMEC, which incorporates the Kent Muslim Education Centre established in November 2023. It has gone on to become one of the most active Islamic Education and Cultural Centre in Kent.

Kent Muslim Education Centre Trust is governed by up to 11 trustees; up to 4 are elected biannually, and up to a further 7 are then appointed.
